Here are some important dates to know about housing and the residence halls. For more information about campus life for students, check this out.
May 28th - Housing Application Due
We begin processing applications and assigning residents. If you haven't turned in your housing application by the end of May, don't fret: We'll still accept you housing application well into the summer. If you have been accepted by Doane but haven't received your housing application, please contact Doane Admissions or your Admissions counselor.
June 1st - Housing Assignment Begins
Starting in May, we assemble a database of all incoming students. On June 1st, we begin assigning housing to all the students in our database. This process takes about three weeks.
1st Monday of July- Housing Notification
In the first week of July, we prepare letters for incoming students with their housing assignment and roommate information. If you haven't received a housing letter by July 21st, please contact DoaneHousing@doane.edu.
Late August - Move In
Early arrival dates for the fall are published the last week of March.
Please make sure to check your Doane email throughout the summer for important information on what move-in day will look like and what you'll need for a smooth transition to College living. If you're returning early as an OL, or for other school-related reasons, you will receive an email with about moving in.
Orientation Leaders and Residence Advisors will be in the hall to help first year students move in. Welcome to your Home Away From Home!
