Specialized Academic Award
Specialized academic awards are offering in Journalism and Media, Sports Medicine and Athletic Training.
Specialized awards are presented to full-time students for specific talents and interests.
Doane offers scholarships beyond general academic scholarships based on students’ current ability and potential for growth. These areas include athletic scholarships, fine and performing arts scholarships, and select academic program-specific scholarships based on the major that you have identified.
Doane will award the scholarships in up to two programs. Applying for scholarships in more than one area does not guarantee additional scholarship dollars.
Students are expected to participate in the program for which the award is given.
To be eligible for the full award, a student must meet the nomination criteria.
This award is renewed each year at the discretion of the program director.
Admitted students may be required to provide additional information or participate in an interview.
