This course provides, through the development ofysmall software applications, an understanding ofythe process of developing software, including theyidentification of a problem, and the design,yanalysis, and implementation of algorithms andydata/file structures to solve that problemyStudents learn how to implement algorithms andydata/file structures in a high-level language,yandyhow to test and verify that implementation.yPrerequisite: Information Systems Management 100.y(Students may demonstrate competence to fulfillythis requirement.)
