With the guidance of a faculty member, the studentydevelops a research or experiential project whichydemonstrates the knowledge and skills expectedyupon completion of the major. Satisfactoryycompletion of this project, including a writtenyand oral presentation, demonstrates a solidyunderstanding of the major, as well as theyconfidence and skills to work with existing andyemerging aspects of the professional field, to doyindependent research and effective problemysolving, and to communicate effectively.yPrerequisites: Interdisciplinary Studies 206,ysenior standing, and permission.
