With the guidance of a faculty member, studentsywill develop a research or experiential projectythat will demonstrate the knowledge and skillsyexpected upon completion of the major.ySatisfactory completion of this project, includingya written and oral presentation, will demonstrateya solid understanding of the major, as well as theyconfidence and skills to work with existing andyemerging aspects of the professional field, to doyindependent research and effective problemysolving, and to communicate effectively.yPrerequisites: BUS 215 (or SSI 217), IDS 206,ysenior standing, and permission.
