This course examines how economic tools andytechniques can be effectively utilized to conductyeconomic research. In addition, recentycontributions to economic thought and currentycontroversies in economics are discussed. Uponycompletion of this course students will: 1)yunderstand contributions to economic theory andypolicy in the post-World War II era along withycontroversies currently being debated in theydiscipline, 2) learn how to conduct research inyeconomics, and 3) complete a research project inyeconomics.
