What being an Omega means to me:  Joining a sorority means more than letters on a sweatshirt, singing a ritual of songs, or just signing my name to another club.  It is not an obligation or even a way of life.  Omega Psi Theta means that I am given the opportunity to become better than my former self by learning to respect others while earning respect from others.  It means learning about people; giving without expecting anything in return.  Most importantly, it is about sisterhood.  Omega sisterhood is not something I can see, hear, or taste, but I can feel it one hundred times a day.  It is a warm smile of encouragement and a caring hug when everything is going wrong.  It is laughter and cheerful celebration when everything is going right.  Sisterhood is the sweet reassurance that someone will be there for me and my promise that I will always be there for my sisters.
One random fact about me:  I speak fluently in movie quotes and sarcasm.
