Profess. Identity Develop. SMR I

This seminar is the first of a series of threeyseminars. The focus of this seminar is onyexamining core issues in the development of ayprofessional identity as a counselor. Theystudent will: 1) begin to recognize personalycharacteristics identified in the researchyliterature as essential for effective mentalyhealth counselors; 2) initiate the ongoingyprocess of individual strength and skillyassessment, and 3) document the learning thatyoccurs and how that learning can be applied inycounseling settings. Required course for allystudents in Level 1.
