Our pre-professional engineering program, allows you to combine the best aspects of a small college experience with the benefits of a professional engineering degree. Students who complete the program receive a bachelor's degree from Doane College in a major such as mathematics, physics or computer science and a bachelor's of engineering from an accredited engineering school.
Program Offerings
Doane has dual degree programs in engineering with:
- Washington University (St. Louis)
- Columbia University (New York)
- University of Nebraska-Lincoln
Students earn two degrees: a B.A. or B.S. from Doane and a B.S. in engineering or applied science from the affiliated universities.
Normally, students attend Doane for three years and complete the program with two years at an engineering school.
Students also have the option of earning an M.B.A. or M.S. in engineering with an additional year of study.
