Practicum IV
PRACTICUM IV - Graduate Coursework
Practicum IV is a series of graduate courses (12 credits) taken in the Doane graduate program. These courses are required for certification. Over the past years, a great number of requirements have been passed by State and national agencies for receiving a teaching certificate. Some recent examples include work in reading for secondary teachers, study of exceptional students, mainstreaming practices, multicultural education, computer proficiency and a broader range of field experiences. Courses will be taken in the summer following graduation (most of these courses will be taught by Doane faculty).
