Photojournalism

An introduction to the principles ofyphotojournalism, including capturing, processing,yand presenting images in finished form for visualyand electronic media. Students will develop theyskills necessary to shoot on deadline whileyexamining various techniques for photographingysports, and general, spot, and feature newsyevents. The student who successfully completesythis course will demonstrate proficiency inyproducing photographs and exhibit the professionalyconduct necessary among editors, reporters, andyphotojournalists. The student must provide aymanual-focus camera. Offered fall term.
