Pave It Forward

The Doane experience is really about two journeys. One starts shoulder-to-shoulder with new faces, grasping a candle; wondering what this place will bring. The other begins in a single-file line with unforgettable friends, checking a tassel; grasping a diploma; a bitter-sweet end and new beginning in one. Those first steps forward were emotional and poignant, and students experienced them in Cassel Theatre.

Pave it Forward, Brick Campaign, Cassel Theatre Cassel Theatre received a beautiful renovation in 2012, but its legacy remains unchanged: Cassel connects the past, present and future. When new graduates leave its borders, they take the knowledge and experiences they gained at Doane and pay it forward.

We're adding a special touch to Cassel Theatre that captures its legacy, through the Pave it Forward Campaign. You can purchase personalized, engraved 4-x-8
bricks for $150 each. Forever a part of Doane's beautiful campus, the bricks will complete the perimeter of Cassel.

Pave it Forward is a great opportunity to congratulate a graduate, celebrate a degree or accomplishment, or honor a loved one. You can also show your personal piece of history to family and friends.

Your participation in the campaign contributes to the renovation of Doane's historic Cassel Theatre, and makes it possible for future students to take their journey at Doane, as 25 percent of each donation goes back to students as scholarships, through the Doane Scholarship Fund.
