Tigers Top Peru State to Even Record

The Tigers used strong shooting, doubling their percentage from Friday's game, to defeat Peru State College, 75-70. Doane evened up their record at 2-2 with the victory.
Doane trailed by one at halftime but shot 57-percent in the second half to take the lead. The Tigers had their struggles at the free throw line in the final 20 minutes, shooting 13-of-20 in the half.
Scott Neuhalfen led the way with 15 points, shooting 7-of-12 from the floor. Tyler Cyboron added 13 points, going 6-of-6 from the free throw line. Jack Lind added 10 points and six rebounds.
Peru State was led by Jerry Vaughn-Taylor's 21 points. Kenny Braziel added 12 points and three assists.
