The Doane men's cross country team took three of the top five spots individually and came away with a first place finish at the Dean White Invite on Saturday afternoon. The Tigers finished with 33 points while Hastings totaled 40 points.
The Tigers were paced by Sufian Kimo's first place finish as he posted a time of 26:41.41. Edwin Ronoh took second with a time of 27:27.95. Paul Garcia placed fifth in a time of 27:54.83.
Phil Rohde brought home thirteenth place with a time of 28:36.50. Holden Kaliff finished fourteenth in a time of 28:47.91. Scott Ohlson placed seventeenth in a time of 29:03.69. Steve Jerina ran a time of 29:10.53 and placed eighteenth.
Justin Cox was twenty-fourth with a time of 29:42.01. Derreck Donovan finished thirty-first with a time of 30:02.40. Jamil Chehade ran a time of 30:13.64 and placed thirty-fifth. Ben DeLay placed thirty-sixth with a time of 30:22.80. Omar Fernandez finished thirty-seventh with a time of 30:31.20. Andrew Ohlson ran a time of 33:30.26 and placed fifty-first.
The Tigers will travel to Wisconsin on October 11 to participate in the Lucian Rosa Invite.
