Doane "A" finished with a two-round, 677, to place fourth in the Doane College Invitational held at Wilderness Ridge G.C. in Lincoln on Monday and Tuesday. Doane "B" placed eighth with a two-day total of 732. The Tigers will host the Second Round of the GPAC Tournament next week at Wilderness Ridge.
Bo Cribelli led the "A" team with a fourth place finish and 163 (79-84). He posted 18 pars over the 36 holes. Cody Gorsett matched Cribelli's 18 pars and posted a 168 (90-78) and placed 12th. Trevor Rosenberger shot a 172 (85-87) and finished 18th overall. He finished with 16 pars over the invite. John Wiemer posted two birdies and 13 pars to shoot a 174 (92-82) as he placed 25th. Colby Enevoldsen rounded out the "A" team with a 186 (96-90) and placed 39th. He posted two birdies and two pars.
Jacob Kringle had the low score for the "B" team as he placed 28th with a 176 (94-82). Kringle posted 12 pars, including nine on the second day. Will Juilfs placed 31st with a 179 (87-92). Juilfs recorded the lone eagle in the tournament and also posted two birdies and nine pars. Mike DiNapoli finished 40th with a 187 (91-96) and posted four pars. Isaac Wright shot a 190 (97-93) and placed 42nd while posting one birdie and six pars. Brett Cribelli rounded out the team with a 198 (102-96) and tied for 45th. Cribelli posted one birdie and five pars.
