Tigers Preseason Ranked by NAIA

After qualifying for the NAIA Men's Cross Country National Meet in 2006, the Tigers start the 2007 season preseason ranked No. 16 by the NAIA.  Doane received 85 points in the poll and finished one point behind No. 15 Cedarville University.  Malone College is the preseason favorite, receiving 175 points but only one first place vote.  Aquinas University was second with 171 points and two first place votes while Mid-American Nazarene is third with 170 points and three first place votes.

Black Hills State leads the Region III vote getters, placing sixth with 153 points.  Concordia is ranked No. 12 with 115 points and Dickinson State is No. 21 with 53 points.  Hastings College is receiving votes.

Doane opens the season at the Dakota Wesleyan University Invite.
