Tigers Picked Ninth in GPAC
The Tiger men's basketball team was picked to finish ninth this season by the GPAC coaches. Last season, Doane finished 12-16 overall and 8-10 in the GPAC. Doane returns two starters from last year's squad, junior guards Tyler Cyboron and Brett McFarland. Senior center Jack Lind returns along with forward Scott Neuhalfen and guard Trent Schlautman as players who did earn some starts last year.
Dakota Wesleyan was the preseason favorite, collecting 12 of 13 first place votes (a team can not vote for themselves). Northwestern College received the other first place vote and was picked second. Below is the complete preseason poll.
