Tigers Heading NAIA National Meet

The Doane men's cross country placed third at the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) championship meet and earned a spot in this year's NAIA National Championship Meet which will be held two weeks from today on November 21.

Doane finished with 80 points as Concordia came away with the team title with 26 points.

Leading the way were three All-GPAC performers.  Edwin Ronoh placed third overall with a time of 25:18.46.  Sufian Kimo finished fourth with a time of 25:19.41.  Paul Garcia was ninth and ran a time of 25:40.44.  Individuals finishing in the Top 15 earn All-GPAC honors.

Scott Ohlson finished 28th in the meet with a time of 26:36.69.  Jordan Pieper placed 41st with a time of 27:11.72.  Tyler Jackman ran a time of 27:17.70 to place 46th.  Jarid Holliday ran a time of 27:25.36 to take 50th.

Philip Rohde was 51st with a time of 27:29.42.  Placing 71st in the meet was Jamil Chehade with a time of 28:21.88.
