Tigers Drop Game to NWU

Doane and Nebraska Wesleyan battled on Wednesday evening in men's soccer action and the Prairie Wolves came away with a 1-0 win in GPAC action. NWU scored their lone goal with 8.9 seconds remaining in the first half. The loss was the Tiger's third straight since winning eight in a row.
The Tigers were out-shot in the game 22-19. Chris Kavinsky snagged eight saves for Doane while Josh Miller posted six saves for Nebraska Wesleyan. NWU also held the advantage in fouls, 14-12.

Doane will travel to Mitchell, S.D., to take on Dakota Wesleyan University on October 18.
