Tigers Clinch No. 4 Seed
The Doane women's soccer team clinched home field advantage in the First Round of the GPAC Tournament with a 3-0 victory over Northwestern College on Saturday afternoon. The Tigers will be the No. 4 seed in the tournament that starts on November 4.
The two squads battled to a scoreless first half in which Doane out-shot the Red Raiders, 8-0. In the second half, Kelsey Kovar scored in the 66th minute to put Doane on the board. The Tigers added insurance as Samantha Exstrom scored a pair of goals for the Tigers. Exstrom exceeds last year's goals scored season total and now has 21 on the year.
Alicia Exstrom picked up the shutout, not having seen a shot on goal from Northwestern.

Doane will host the GPAC Tournament on November 4 at 7:00 PM. Morningside College will be the Tiger's opponent and the game can be heard on the Tiger Sports Network.
