Tiger Men Top NWU in Dual

Doane posted seven automatic NAIA marks and 12 provisional marks in their dual with Nebraska Wesleyan on Saturday afternoon. The Tiger men won 105-97 over NWU while the women lost to the Prairie Wolves, 103.50-91.50.

Each team earned points for their top two finishers. Doane won 12 of the 19 events on the men's side while the Tiger women won eight of the 19 events.

The Tiger men's relay teams claimed first place finishes. The 4x100m relay team won with a time of 41.21, an NAIA automatic time. The 4x400m team won with a time of 3:19.47.

BJ Lawrence claimed the 100m and 200m crowns. He ran a time of 10.45 in the 100m and 21.41 in the 200m, both automatic marks. Ben McCaleb took second place in both events with provisional marks. He posted times of 10.73 and 21.62.

Virgil Mitchell won the 400m dash with a time of 49.27. He also won the 110m hurdles with a time of 14.07, an automatic time.

Rob Keeney took the 400m hurdles with a time of 53.97, a provisional mark. Edwin Ronoh won the 1500m run with a time of 3:54.73, an automatic NAIA mark.

In men's field events, Nate Teten won the pole vault with a mark of 4.75m (15-07.00), a provisional NAIA mark. Kenney hit a provisional mark in the long jump with a mark of 7.10m (23-03.50) as he finished second.

Alvin Voss won the discus with a NAIA automatic mark of 48.05m (157-08). Vince Krejci posted a provisional mark of 46.86m (153-09) as he took second.

Jacob Clouse won the hammer throw with a toss of 52.80m (173-03), a provisional mark. Micah Marvin won the javelin with a provisional mark of 57.49m (188-07).

In women's action, Kalli Brannagan won the 200m dash with a time of 25.62. Jessica Steinkamp won the 400m with a time of 59.86. The Tiger 4x400m relay team won with a time of 4:05.18.

Jillian Ourada won the 400m hurdles with a provisional mark of 1:04.42. Ourada also claimed the long jump with a mark of 5.58m (18-03.75), a provisional mark.

Madison Wakefield hit a provisional mark in the pole vault as she won with a height of 3.50m (11-05.75).

Shelby Meier picked up an automatic NAIA mark in the triple jump as she leaped 11.62m (38-01.50) to win the event.

Haley Mondt picked up a provisional mark in the hammer throw with a toss of 49.26m (161-07). Ashton Henderson won the javelin with a throw of 37.73m (123-09).
