The Doane men placed seventh at the GPAC Championship on Saturday and closed out their season after scoring 179 points. Nebraska Wesleyan won the team title with 48 points, edging out Concordia who scored 52 points.
Edwin Ronoh earned All-GPAC honors with a sixth place finish and time of 26:04.81. He also earned an individual berth to the NAIA National Championship Meet on November 20.
Jarid Holliday placed 24th with a time of 26:56.75 and Jordan Pieper was 49th with a time of 28:26.05. Omar Fernandez and Jamil Chehade took 60th and 61st, respectively. Fernandez ran a time of 28:45.21 while Chehade finished in 28:47.31.
Steve Jerina capped off his senior year with a 68th place finish and time of 28:57.94. Jory Pflasterer ran a time of 29:21.78 and placed 75th. Zach Christensen took 87th with a time of 29:48.38. Matt Rosser took 97th with a time of 30:45.24 and Zach Sims was 102nd with a time of 31:52.42 to close out the Tiger runners.
