Rall Gallery Features Art Faculty Works
Works by Doane art department faculty are on display in Rall Gallery the remainder of the semester.
The exhibit includes oil paintings, intaglio prints, ceramic sculptures and pastel works on paper by:
Richard Terrell, professor of art - Terrell teaches courses in design, drawing, printmaking and art history. He maintains a studio in Lincoln's Burkholder Project in the Haymarket district. His paintings, prints and drawings have been shown in numerous U.S. solo and competitive exhibitions since 1965. He administers the college's permanent collection or art and is the director of Rall Gallery.
Gary Martin, professor of art -- A Doane faculty member since 1984, Martin teaches ceramics, 3-D design and sculpture. His work is displayed in several Lincoln galleries.
Valerie Knobel, instructor of art - Knobel has been an instructor of art at Doane since 1997. She teaches design, color theory, painting and art history. Her works have been shown in juried exhibitions, invitations and solo exhibitions.
The exhibit is on display in the gallery located in the lower level of the Communications Center. Gallery hours are Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. - 11 p.m.; Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.; and Sunday, 2-11 p.m.
