Kavinsky Earns Defensive Honor

(GPAC Release) Doane keeper Chris Kavinsky is the GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports and NAIA Region III Men's Soccer Defensive Player-of-the-Week. Kavinsky, a 6-0 junior from Englewood, Colorado, picked up a shutout win in goal against Dakota Wesleyan. For the game he stopped four shots in 76 minutes of work in net. Doane went 1-0 on the week and improved to 4-2 for the season.
