The Doane women's soccer team finished the regular season with a 3-0 victory over the University of Sioux Falls. The win earned the Tigers the No. 5 seed and they will face Dordt in the First Round of the GPAC Tournament.
In the first half, Kelly Baer put the Tigers on the board with a goal in the 25th minute of play. Doane was held scoreless over the next 47 minutes before Samantha Exstrom added a goal for the Tigers. The game was Exstrom's first since September when an injury sidelined the senior. Exstrom added another goal five minutes later to close out the scoring.
For Exstrom, the two goals give her 58 for her career. She is one shy of the school record heading into post-season play.
Kelsey Stark finished the game with four saves while her counterpart, Kelsey Van Peursem finished with 10 saves. Doane held the shot edge, 30-7.
