Dunn Tabbed Midland's Male College Athlete-of-the-Year
He also played arguable the toughest two positions, quarterback for football and catcher for baseball, and held a role of leadership as well.
While doing so, he also excelled in the classroom, earning NAIA Scholar-Athlete honors in both sports and Academic All-American honors in baseball.
After four years, his work came to a close in May as he helped the Tiger baseball team reach the finals of the NAIA Opening Round Tournament in Marion, Indiana.
His senior year saw the football team finish ranked in the Top 25 and finish 8-2 overall while the baseball team was receiving the most votes for the Top 25 in school history and had never advanced to the championship game of the opening round.
With his dual efforts, Dunn has been named the Midland's Male College Athlete-of-the-Year by the Omaha World Herald.
It marks the second straight year a Doane male athlete has won the award after BJ Lawrence claimed the honor a year ago.
Dunn becomes the eighth male to receive the honor at Doane.
