She has recently published a book titled "Godwired" Religion, Ritual and Virtual Reality," that examines how virtual experiences, such as video games and various online interactions, can be seen as religious.
Dr. Wagner will be speaking about her book at 6:00 p.m. on April 12th in room 152 of the Lied Science and Math Building. This event is free and open to the public, and is made possible by the Dredla Research Speakers Series.
The Dredla Research Speakers Series sponsors scholarly presentations in all academic disciplines. Named after Doane College alumni Alberta M. Dredla (1905-2003) and Bernice C. Dredla Sanderson (1909-2000), the lectures gather students, faculty, and the larger Doane College community into challenging consideration of research in the liberal arts and sciences.
