Doane Takes 14th at Woody Greeno
The Doane women's cross country team put together a solid showing at the Woody Greeno Invite hosted by Nebraska-Lincoln and placed 14th overall as a team. The race, run at 6K instead of 5K, saw UNL win the meet with 32 points while Doane finished with 409. Doane finished ninth in the college division, NCAA Division I opponents removed from the calculation, with 265 points as Wartburg took first with 66 points.
Viviana Arreola led the way for Doane with a 72nd place finish with a time of 23:22. Jillian Ourada placed 74th in a time of 23:25. Jessica Driewer ran a time of 23:35 to place 83rd overall.
Lizzie Kolbo was the fourth Tiger to finish, posting a time of 23:49 and placing 100th overall. Alex Conrin rounded out the Tiger scorers with a 119th place finish and a time of 24:02.
Yadira Salazar placed 132nd overall with a time of 24:15. Halie Smith finished in 169th after running a time of 24:57. Aprill Bodlak rounded out the runners with a time of 25:04 and 173rd place finish.
There were 266 runners and 27 teams at the meet.
