Doane Selects Director of Alumni Relations
Doane College recently selected Anne Golden of Lincoln as the Director of Alumni Relations.
Golden, who has been an Assistant Competitive Forensics Coach at Doane since 2007, will now be at the center of alumni relations for Doane. Golden said she wants to keep past graduates and alumni up to date on what's happening on campus. As well as keeping alumni connected, Golden will set up alumni events such as silent auctions and Friday Afternoon Clubs (FAC) with various alumni chapters.
For the past five years, Golden has worked as a human resources specialist for Time Warner Cable in Lincoln and also as a regional recruiter for part of that time.
As the human resources specialist, Golden helped to boost client retention, create relationships with nonprofit organizations, conduct training, and create Time Warner Cable's first diversity council.
Golden, a Nebraska City native, earned her Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communication from Doane College in Crete, and her Masters of Arts in Management from Doane College in Lincoln.
During her time at Doane, Golden competed in forensics, obtaining over 60 individual competitive speaking awards at both state and national levels.
