Doane Places Fifth at NAIA Mid-States Classic
The Doane women's cross country team posted a fifth place finish at this year's NAIA Mid-States Classic, finishing with a team time of 1:38:28 and 119 points. Kansas Wesleyan University won the meet with a team time of 1:38:09 and 92 points.
Doane was led by Viviana Arreola's fifth place finish as she ran a time of 18:53. Alex Conrin was the Tigers' No. 2 runner on the day, finishing 22nd with a time of 19:39. Jessica Driewer placed 29th with a time of 19:47.
Jillian Ourada placed 33rd after running a time of 19:56 and Yadira Salazar placed 43rd as she finished with a time of 20:11. Halie Smith ran a time of 20:41 and placed 59th and Aprill Bodlak rounded out the Tiger runners with a time of 20:52 as she placed 66th in the meet.
A total of 22 team participated and 171 runners.
