Doane Picked Fifth in GPAC Race
Doane was picked to finish fifth this season by the GPAC coaches in the preseason poll released by the conference this week. The Tigers finished 17-15 overall and 9-9 in GPAC last year. The Tigers return five starters from last year's team. Lindsay Anderson earned Second Team All-American honors with Vanessa Munter, Hannah Helman and Brittany Lurz picked up All-Conference honors. Amy Fox returns after starting 20 games.
Morningside College was the preseason favorite by the coaches, collecting 10 first-place votes. Hastings College received two first-place votes and defending NAIA champion Northwestern College received the last first-place vote. Below is the complete preseason poll.
