Doane Named College of Distinction
Doane College has been named to the Colleges of Distinction guide for 2013-2014. This is the fifth time Doane has been named to the guide.
Colleges of Distinction selects schools "that demonstrate its commitment to the four distinctions: engagement, teaching, community and outcomes."
Doane is one of four schools in Nebraska selected to receive this honor, which is bestowed upon fewer than 200 colleges and universities across the country.
The goal of Colleges of Distinction is to provide students, counselors, and parents with information about schools that excel in these key areas. Featured schools take a holistic approach to admissions, consistently excel in providing undergraduate education, and have a truly national reputation.
The Hansen Leadership Program, student research projects, athletics, Relay for Life and Doane’s commitment to job placement are just a few of the college’s recognized distinctions.
