Doane Falls to Southwestern

Doane jumped out early but turnovers caught up to the team as they fell to Southwestern College, 61-52.  Doane committed 29 turnovers in the loss.

Southwestern took advantage of several second-chance opportunities as they finished with 23 offensive rebounds, 11 coming from Jasmine Jackson.  Jackson finished with a game-high 15 points to go with 14 total rebounds for the Lady Moundbuilders.

Doane received a game-high 15 points from Hannah Helman.  Ali Bellinghausen led the team in rebounds with 10 defensive bounds.  Helman added seven rebounds, four offensive.  Savannah Lohmeier had a team-high three assists.

Doane will open up conference play on November 21 at No. 2 Northwestern College.
