Doane Falls to No. 12 Bellevue

The Tiger men's basketball team came up short in their upset bid of No. 12 Bellevue University, falling 72-66 to the Bruins.  Free throw shooting hurt the team's chances as they converted 20-of-32 attempts, missing nine in the second half of play.

Leading the way in scoring was Jens Scholl as he finished with 18 points.  Jake Johnson added 14 points and Zach Moult finished with 11 for the Tigers.

Brett McFarland and Tyler Cyboron finished with team-high honors in rebounds with six.  Trent Schlautman led the team with three assists.

The Bruins were led by Aaryon Williams' 18 points and 12 rebounds.

The Tigers will take on Tabor College in Hillsboro, Kansas, on November 11.
