The Doane volleyball team put together a solid showing on Friday evening in Lincoln and came away with a four-game victory over NCAA Division III No. 20 Nebraska Wesleyan. Game scores were 25-17, 16-25, 25-15 and 25-19 as Doane picked up their 23rd win of the season and 10th win in conference play.
Doane was led by their seniors on the evening. Jessy Livers posted a game-high 16 kills in addition to 18 digs while Ivie Speer finished with 15 digs. Emily Schwisow matched Livers for team-high honors with 18 digs.
Susan Rollman posted 11 kills for Doane and added six total blocks on the evening.
Heather Davison led the Tigers with 31 set assists and Cassie Reicks chipped in 20 set assists. Davison posted 12 digs as did Nicole Skolnick.
Nebraska Wesleyan was led by Laura Brammeier's 15 kills and 20 digs.
Doane will host Mount Marty College on Saturday evening and it will be Dig Pink night in the Field House. Fans are encouraged to wear pink in support of the fight against Breast Cancer.
