Doane among the “Best in the Midwest”
Doane College has once again been named one of the best colleges and universities in the Midwest, according to The Princeton Review.
Doane was one of 155 colleges the nationally known education services company chose for its “Best in the Midwest” section of its website feature, “2013 Best Colleges: Region by Region.”
The “regional best” colleges constitute only 25 percent of the nation's four-year colleges- a select group.
From hundreds of institutions The Princeton Review considered in each region, it selected schools based primarily for excellent academic programs. Secondarily, it was taken into account what students attending the schools reported about their campus experiences on a survey.
The 155 colleges selected for the “Best in the Midwest” list are located in 12 states: Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota and Wisconsin. The Princeton Review also designated top colleges in the Northeast, West and Southeast.
The Princeton Review does not rank the colleges in the Best Colleges: Region by Region website section.
