Hannah Helman picked up three steals that helped her to 15 points.
The Tigers held a 43-38 rebound edge which included five offensive rebounds more than the Cougars. Alissa Holland had a game-high 13 rebounds to go with her nine points.
Spring Arbor was led by Kara Buehrer's 18 points. Kristen Miller added 13 points and 11 rebounds for the Cougars. SAU committed 18 turnovers compared to 15 by Doane.
