DMR record falls at Buena Vista Invite
The Tiger women picked up 11 event victories as they took part in the Buena Vista NAIA Invite.
Junior Erin Fogarty picked up individual victories in the 400 meter dash and 55 meter hurdles. In the 400, she finished with a time of 1:00.33. Fogarty finished with a time of 8.51 in the 55 meter hurdles.
D.J. Silcott won the 200 meter dash with a time of 27.10. She took second place in the 55 meter dash with a time of 7.55.
Kym Bennett, Ashley Noel and Cortney Johansen claimed the 1,000, 3,000 and 5,000 meter runs, respectively. Bennett ran a time of 3:03.69, Noel finished with a time of 10:49.50 while Johansen ran 18:49.26.
The Tiger relay teams excelled in the 4x400 and distance medley relays. The 4x400 finished in a time of 3:59.37 while the DMR ran a time of 12:23.52. The DMR, comprised of Bennett, Noel, Megan Kinney and Ellie Windle broke the school record by nearly four seconds.
Katie Bartels jumped 5-03 to win the high jump. Abby Schlueter won the triple jump with a mark of 38-00.75. Tawny Fye claimed the weight throw title with a toss of 48-11.25.
Doane will participate at the Prairie Wolf Invite on Saturday, February 17.
