Cross Country Teams in Top 25
The Tiger men's and women's cross country team are both ranked in the NAIA Top 25 for the first time since November 6, 2006, the same year both teams qualified for the NAIA National Championship Meet.
The men have been ranked for seven consecutive weeks and are ranked No. 25 for the second straight week. The Tigers are coming off a strong showing at the Lucian Rosa Invitational in Kenosha, Wis., in which they finished sixth. Malone College (Ohio) continues to lead the way after collecting 19 of 20 first place votes.
The women are tied for No. 23 after making a big push in the ratings. Last week, they received one point in the poll. This week the women collected 162 points after a seventh place finish at the Lucian Rosa Invitational. Azusa Pacific University (Calif.) is ranked No. 1 after grabbing 14 of 21 first place votes. Cedarville University (Ohio) is second while collecting the seven remaining first place votes.
