The Tiger women's basketball team suffered a set back on Wednesday evening with an 82-64 loss to Concordia University. Turnovers and second-chance opportunities plagued the Tigers' chances of winning. Doane committed 21 turnovers while giving up 16 offensive rebounds.
The Bulldogs were able to pull away in the second half with 11 second chance points compared to Doane's zero. Concordia had four players finish in double figures as Whitney Stichka led all scorers with 20 points.
Doane was led by Lindsay Anderson's 18 points and four assists. Hannah Helman added 11 points and Vanessa Munter chipped in 10 points.
Concordia controlled the boards, holding a 41-33 edge.
Doane will travel to Mitchell, S.D., to face Dakota Wesleyan in the battle of the Tigers.
