Brull, Hincy Earn GPAC Weekly Honors

Pitcher - Chance Brull, Doane
Doane's pitcher Chance Brull is the Hauff Mid-America Sports Baseball Pitcher-of-the-Week. Brull, a junior from Overland Park, Kansas is 7-0 on the season with a 1.03 ERA after a three-hit victory over Concordia in which he struck out ten batters. He leads the NAIA in opponent's batting average (.138) and hits allowed per nine innings (4.13). The Tigers went 3-3 on the week, which upped their record to 30-13 on the season.
Player - Anthony Hincy, Doane
Doane's shortstop Anthony Hincy is the Hauff Mid-America Sports Baseball Player-of-the-Week. Hincy, a junior from Colorado Springs, Colorado went 6-for-12 in conference play, helping the Tigers to a 3-1 conference record on the week. He hit .400 with eight RBIs and an impressive on-base percentage of .550 in five games. Hincy also hit a game winning home run against Concordia leading to the sweep and number one spot in the conference standings. Doane will continue conference play Thursday April 28 vs. Nebraska Wesleyan in Lincoln, Nebraska, 1pm.
