  School Activities:
I am a member of the Doane Forensics Team (competitive speech) and Sigma Phi Theta Fraternity. I am also the Co-News Director and a radio show host for 91.9 KDNE (campus radio station) and a Co-Lead Anchor and Assistant Director for DCTV (Doane Campus Television).
  School Activities:
I am a biology major with a minor in Business Administration. I am a member of Gamma Phi Iota, Doane WACO, Neumann Club, and am in the process of starting a Pre-Vet Club at Doane.
Future Plans:
Occupational Therapy
  Future Plans:
My ultimate goal is to obtain a career in the radio or TV industry or something that I can really utilize my Journalism and Broadcasting skills in. I am especially interested in production, so getting a job as a producer would be awesome. I plan on starting out somewhere local after I graduate (probably Lincoln or Omaha) but eventually I would love to move out of state, preferably somewhere in Colorado or somewhere else in the western U.S.
  Future Plans:
After Doane I hope to attend a graduate school of veterinary medicine to become a licensed veterinarian and eventually start my own practice.
Interesting Fact:
I wore a uniform to school everyday from kindergarten to senior year.
  Interesting Fact:
I was born in Santa Fe, New Mexico but moved to Nebraska with my parents when I was about two years old.
  Interesting Fact:
Something interesting about me is that I ran the Lincoln Half Marathon in May and I plan to eventually run a full marathon in the future.
Pets:
Two dogs, Shay & Riley
  Pets:
The only pet I currently have is a cat at my mom's house. However, I have had several dogs in the past. (I'm much more of a dog person than a cat person)
  Pets:
I absolutely love animals, especially my yellow lab, Izzy. She is the best pet anyone could ask for.
Favorite Snack:
I love chips and salsa or guac because I love spicy foods.
  Favorite Snack:
My favorite snack would definitely be Cheez-Its! They are probably the best cracker/chip ever created. The combination of the cheese and salt is one that cannot be topped.
  Favorite Snack:
My favorite snack to eat is watermelon -- I could eat a whole watermelon in one sitting.
How I Spend My Free Time:
Ever since I was little I've loved my sleep, so whenever I get the chance I like to take a nap.
How I Spend My Free Time:
Oh boy...free time during the academic year is kind of a hope and dream for me that never comes true (but that's ok because I like to stay busy). But when I do get a break from everything it's pretty simple, I just like to hang out and relax with my friends, speech teammates, and my fraternity brothers.
How I Spend My Free Time:
In my free time I like to run or watch Fixer Upper on HGTV.
Tiger Tidbit:
I know a lot of people who have attended Doane and they all have had nothing but the best to say about their experience. Once I visited, I could understand why. Doane is a great community that I couldn't wait to join at the time of my visit and now cannot imagine being without.
  Tiger Tidbit:
I come from a very small Nebraska town and an even smaller Nebraska high school. So, the thing that I like the most about DOane is the small school size. I like the feeling that I know most of the people that I walk past in the hallway. It has that sort of family feel to the campus and I love that. I also like knowing that my professors know me by name and reach out to me personally if they need something from me.
  Tiger Tidbit:
I came to Doane because it felt like home. Both of my parents went to Doane and I felt a connection here right away. I love being at Doane because the community atmosphere is unbeatable and my professors push me to be the best I can be.
