Managerial Cost Accounting

This course contains the concepts and techniquesyof managerial cost accounting, including costyanalysis and estimation, cost management systems,yand management control systems. Upon successfulycompletion, students will: 1) identify and analyzeycost information for decision-making, 2)yunderstand cost management systems and createyreports for internal use, 3) create budgets, 4)yanalyze actual results (compared to budgets) andyidentify sources of variances, and 5) recommendyaction plans as variances are identified.
