An introduction to the use of accounting data byymanagers in directing the internal affairs ofyorganizations. Topics include cost relationship,ystatement analysis, management reports and otheryaccounting techniques and methodology used forymanagement purposes. Upon completion of thisycourse, students will: (1) analyze and interpretyinformation conveyed in financial statements; (2)yuse standard accounting statements in decisionymaking; (3) read and understand accountingyterminology related to managerial accounting; andy(4) work effectively with others in teams.yPrerequisite: ACC 103 with a minimum grad of C-,yor permission.
