This course addresses the internal organization,ystructure and executive functions of businessyenterprise by examining the critical managementyfunctions of planning, organizing, leading, andycontrolling. Students successfully completingythis course will be able to: 1) identify the fourymanagement functions and the related skills thatyensure managerial success, 2) explain the conceptyof organizational mission and its influence onystrategic goal setting and planning, 3) discussythe importance of leadership within organizationsyfacing an ever-changing global businessyenvironment, 4) discuss motivation theory and itsylink to organizational success, and 5) explain theyprocess of organizational control. Prerequisite:ySophomore standing or above.
