Career Development Office
The Career Development Office offers a broad range of services to meet the needs of students and alumni. We can help you explore your professional interests, select a major, find internships, and plan for your career. Any time you approach a career change (during school, at graduation, or down the road) we can help you develop your résumé and cover letter, and prepare for successful job interviews. Our online job board called "Job Zone" will connect you with part-time or full-time work and/or internship opportunities. Assistance in planning for graduate school is also available. Board for Women's Ministries of First-Plymouth Church
A $2,500 scholarship is being offered to a non-traditional woman student attending a Nebraska school of higher education. Families USA Scholarships
Families USA sponsors two one-year fellowships:
- The Wellstone Fellowship for Social Justice
- The Villers Fellowship for Health Care Justice
Each year, one person is chosen for each of these fellowships through a competitive process, and the selected fellows work in Families USA' Washington, DC office for one year, beginning in late summer or fall.

2012 Winter Flex and WIN2 Terms Pre-Registration
Open: November 14, 2011
There are four ways to pre-register for courses.
- WEBADVISOR - You are encouraged to pre-register online using WebAdvisor at www.doane.edu/wa. Upon selecting your courses, please make sure you also register for the courses, and double check your student schedule for accuracy. If you encounter any problems with online pre-registration, please call your adviser or send an email to lincolnprereg@doane.edu. Students who are new to Doane for the Spring Term CAN NOT select this option.
- E-MAIL - You may e-mail your pre-registration to lincolnprereg@doane.edu. Please include in your e-mail your complete name, ID or SS number, and your daytime phone number. When listing the course(s) please include the course number, title, day, and time to guarantee pre-registration for the correct section.
- PHONE - You may phone in your pre-registration by calling (402) 466-4774 or toll free 888-803-6263.
- ON CAMPUS - You may stop by the Doane-Lincoln offices at 303 North 52nd Street.

All students are required to formally register for classes. No appointment is necessary. Simply stop by the college on one of the days listed above.
Census Day
2012 Winter Flex Term: The last day to drop a class without paying tuition or fees is Monday, December 19, 2011. You must contact an advisor in order to drop a class.
2012 WIN2 Term: The last day to drop a class without paying tuition or fees is Monday, January 23, 2012. You must contact an advisor in order to drop a class.
Book Buyback
Nebraska Book will be in the Atrium Monday, January 23 through Thursday January 26 between 4:30pm and 6pm to purchase used textbooks.
