Introduction to Poetry Writing

An introduction to basic descriptive and criticalyterminology having to do with the writing ofypoetry. Students will become familiar with freeyverse and a limited number of fixed forms. Uponysuccessful completion of the course, students willybe able to identify a number of different kinds ofypoetry and will have written poems of their own.yPrerequisite: English 101
