Introduction to Meteorology Lab

An examination of day-to-day weather events andythe circulation of the atmosphere by laboratoryydemonstrations, exercises, and problem solving.yBasic concepts of weather forecasting areyintroduced. Investigations will includeyexamination of precipitation processes, severeyweather, circulation systems, and air pollution.yUpon successful completion of this course,ystudents will have an understanding of theyphysical factors that affect the atmosphere asywell as experience analyzing meteorological datayand forecasting weather. Must be concurrentlyyenrolled in Geology 107.
