Intercultural Communication

Communication between cultures in theyinterpersonal and organizational context.yDifferences in communication behaviors due toynationality, ethnicity, and social status areyexplored. Students study their own cultures, asywell as the cultures of others, to develop greateryawareness of patterns of thinking, beliefs,yassumptions, values, and cultural norms whichyinfluence communicative (verbal, nonverbal, andylistening) behaviors. This course fulfills theyCultural Perspectives requirement of the DoaneyPlan.
