Financing Your Education

Education is one of the most important, and possibly the first, big investment of your life. Spend some time researching scholarships as they can be a big factor in financing your years at college. If you enrolled in classes at Doane College prior to Fall 2014, then please use the following document to determine your academic scholarship requirements. Doane's Leadership Award

Admitted students are automatically eligible with a minimum 3.5 GPA.

To be considered, students should:

Students should complete the scholarship application and schedule an interview.

Renewable for up to eight semesters if the student maintains a 3.0 GPA and full-time enrollment status.

Doane College Legacy Grant $1,000

Awarded to admitted applicants who have a current sibling attending the Crete campus or who have had a sibling, parent, grandparent or great-grandparent graduate from Doane College.

Eligible students receive this award.

This grant is renewable for up to eight semesters.

Dianne Grieser Memorial Scholarship

Must be a graduate of any Lincoln public high school interested in a career in the business field.  Must be attending an institution of higher learning in the state of Nebraska.

Additional details and applications available in the Financial Aid Office.

Not eligible for renewal.

Dale E. Siefkes Memorial Scholarship

1. Applicant must be a junior or senior level college student during the upcoming academic year at a Nebraska college pursuing a career in Education.

Custer County Foundation Scholarships

Students must be former graduates of Custer County high schools.

These scholarships are not renewable.

Clark Scholarship

Any student enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at any time during calendar year 2014 at any accredited American college, university or trade school.

Clara E. Muehlberger Scholarship

To qualify for the Muehlberger Scholarship, students must:
